The 2024 Kilifi Gold Triathlon was a resounding success, and Allure Laser Skin & Aesthetic Medicine Centre had an incredible experience participating in this prestigious event! Held on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, this annual race, known for its commitment to supporting local charities and environmental projects, attracted hundreds of athletes, spectators, and supporters to Kilifi Creek.
This year’s weather could not have been better—bright, sunny skies with a gentle breeze that kept athletes and spectators cool throughout the day. The event kicked off with sign-ins from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, followed by an exciting compulsory race brief. At 2:00 pm sharp, individual participants took off in the Centurion race, with teams following 15 minutes later. The energy and excitement were palpable as participants swam, cycled, and ran through the scenic coastal routes, cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd.

In addition to the exciting races, the event also featured fun activities for all ages, making it a family-friendly day out. The Kilifi Gold Triathlon continues to be one of the most anticipated events on the coastal calendar, and this year was no exception.
The 2024 event also supported a crucial mangrove restoration project in partnership with The Leaf Charity, aiming to plant over 30,000 mangroves in Kilifi Creek. At Allure, we’re proud to have contributed to this environmental initiative, which will positively impact the local biodiversity and communities for generations to come.
